BUTCHER BLOCK
This material comes unfinished allowing you to customize them for a personalized look that truly makes the wood your own. Butcherblock works wonderfully in a wide variety of applications including kitchen, laundry rooms, garages, desks, bathrooms, storage spaces, home gyms, or virtually anywhere else you can imagine.
But why choose Butcherblock?
-
Available in two unique wood species, Hevea and Acacia
-
Either side of the countertop can be used to achieve different looks
-
Made of 100% solid A-/B+ grade, face-grain cut wood with 1.5-inch thickness, no fillers
-
Harvested from rapidly renewable resources
-
Durable surface provides scratch resistance
-
Both Acacia and Hevea utilize water-based formaldehyde-free glue
Depending on how you use your countertops, they can be finished in one one of three ways:
-
Urethane No Maintenance sealer with or without a stain underneath. This is a long term sealer and hold up well to regular use but not recommended to be used as a cutting board.
-
Food-safe oil sealer. This option will need more frequent application.
-
Or we leave the wood raw - this way you can finish and customize the counters in your own way!
